Your Questions, Answered

  • From trying to conceive all the way through postpartum (which lasts far beyond 6 weeks, by the way) I offer services that meet you wherever you are. Support is tailored to each family’s individual experience. The most common services range from TTC education, Prenatal and Childbirth Preparation, Birth Support and Postpartum Planning.

  • Simple! Reach out through the contact form, via email, or telephone, and we will schedule a no-pressure free consultation to discuss in further detail how I can best support you!

  • I believe that birth is not purely a physical event. It’s emotional, relational, and deeply personal.

My approach to doula support centers on meeting you exactly where you are. In confidence or uncertainty, in strength or vulnerability, I hold space without agenda or judgment. I don’t come with a single idea of what birth/parenthood should look like. I honor your choices, intuition, and your autonomy.

I support not only the birthing person, but the relationships surrounding them. Partners are welcomed, included, and empowered so that no one feels side-lined during the experience.

When the journey feels intense, unpredictable, or different than imagined, I remain calm and grounded. I support informed-choice and honor that your journey belongs to you.

Above all, I value connection. My hope and goal is that you feel held- not just during labor, but as you step into parenthood and every step along the way.

  • Great question! I support families in their most comfortable birth space. Birth is vulnerable and sacred, we need to feel safe to bring our babies Earth-side. I have had the privilege to support mother’s in their own homes, at birth centers, and at many of the hospitals in the ABQ/RR area.

  • I am a certified labor and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, and infant feeding specialist. I maintain certification through the New Mexico Department of Health. Though my initial trainings were years ago, I believe experience is the best teacher and I am required by the state to pursue at least 24 continuing education hours per year.

  • Absolutely. I accept insurance through the NM Turquoise plans, and offer a sliding scale fee for client’s who do not qualify.

  • In the unlikely event I cannot be at your birth, I will do my best to provide a backup doula to support you in my place.

  • Green!

Truly I think Red has its place as well, just not on mashed potatoes.
